Full Job Description

The Engineering Enablement Specialist drives the delivery of excellence in customer service through the tactical delivery of issue resolution in parallel with a focus on activities and programmes that enhance customer facing engineering capabilities. This job requires you to travel to local sites, so a full UK driving license is requiredWhat you'll be doing

  • Guide the implementation of the service enablement strategy, the analysis and definition of the national programme, the prioritisation framework and improvements.
  • Manage and monitor the deployment of tools that enable engineering teams to continue building and innovating.
  • Mentor other Engineering Enablement professionals, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource
  • Champion, continuously develop and share with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in engineering enablement.
  • Manage the resolution of critical customer escalations contributing to high standards of customer delivery.
  • Ensure fulfillment of delivery requirements of operational targets within the team in order to drive long term sustainable business performance improvement, by identifying, designing and implementing opportunities to improve.
  • Identify and implement efficiency savings by setting local targets for performance in output and quality to ensure an environment of continuous improvement is instilled in the team.
  • Execute roadmaps for engineering capability, maturity, health and status updates ensuring the Engineering Enablement vision aligns with business strategy.
  • Contribute and facilitate partnerships with engineering peers and leadership stakeholders aimed at aligning functional work impacting service delivery standards.
  • Drive impact with a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within the team and other related teams.
