Engineering Maintenance Assistant

In support of the Team Leader/Manager to ensure the day to day efficient and safe working of allengineering plant on site, to work within the Engineering Departments Health & Safety policies andprotocols, ensuring that working practises comply with these in both spirit and practise.To carry out day to day maintenance of engineering plant as directed by Team Managers on adaily basis .To attend to plant breakdowns, carry out repairs and restore the units to service asquickly and efficiently as possible. With support to be able to fault find on electric motors and theirassociated control gear. To activate changeover of plant and or its safe isolation in the event of amalfunction or breakdown. Experience in fault finding and installation on building mechanicalservices Able to carry out minor mechanical work such as connection/disconnection of belt drives,pulley and direct drive couplings.
