Full Job Description

The Estates Directorate is seeking to recruit a skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to join the Estates Corporate Services Team. The successful candidate will support in managing the performance of one of the largest PFI contracts in the region therefore providing a truly unique experience and opportunity to develop within the organisation, whilst supporting clinical staff to deliver the highest standard of patient care.

  • Main duties of the job The successful candidate will perform a key role in managing our PFI partners for engineering, technical and compliance matters at our two main sites at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospital within a complex PFI setting. This will also include taking a lead role in managing projects, compliance auditing, decarbonisation initiatives relating to engineering services and lifecycle development.
