Full Job Description
£55,000 per annum + progression and superb benefits.
The world leader in Corrosion Testing and Environmental Solutions is looking for an individual who can take a disciplined and methodical approach to inspection, who is able to prioritise work and remain calm under pressure while able to communicate with all colleagues effectively and professionally.
Job Objectives:
- To ensure good quality product leaves the premises.
- To ensure best production practices are adhered to.
- To educate employees where they are creating Non conformity.
- To reduce warranty costs and Production related Non conformity
- Good all round electro-mechanical engineering background including wiring, mechanical fitting and pneumatics.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees effectively and professionally.
- A disciplined and methodical approach to Inspection.
- Ability to keep quality control systems up to date
- Ability to prioritise work & remain calm under pressure.
- End of Production Line Audits including wiring, mechanical and pneumatic processes have been followed and product is good to be put on test.
- Despatch area Final Audit to ensure the chamber testing has been carried out to satisfaction.
- Further Wiring, mechanical and Pneumatic checks to enure good quality processes have been followed.
- Photographic work instructions are created for all processes so these are to be used as the datum line for following a process without deviation. Any amendments or observations are to be fed back to the Work Instruction Engineer.
- Rasing Non conformities in the Company Quality database.
- Producing reports that highlight areas that need to be improved upon.
- Creating reports on employees Non conformity Targets
- Liaison with MD on any Aspects pertaining to Non conformity and Quality.
- To contribute in the Development of our processes and system to best practice methods.
- Good all round electro-mechanical engineering background including wiring, mechanical fitting and pneumatics.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees effectively and professionally.
