Engineering Releases Coordinator

Forseven, a revolutionary company is looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, are seeking a Engineering Release Coordinator to join our highly skilled and Engineering Operations team.

The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Reporting to the Design Office Data Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Company's Design, Engineering and Technical Procurement functions to ensure the BoM data is accurate with regards to part specification, source codes, weight, quantity, and all other attributes.

What you will do:

• Extract the vehicle BoM for GMT projects from 3DX when required and send it or upload it to the Smartsheet for project ETRS reports and status.


• Following the Engineering Release Process and the checklist before the release done in 3DX.


• Checking for all the release points mentioned in the checklist and liaise with the engineers if any modification required before approving the part/assembly in 3DX.


• Suggesting modifications to the process to make it better and more efficient.


• Feeding all the release data information to different areas - MBoM, ERP system, Smartsheet, Mass and Cost tracker on a regular basis and assist the ERP team in keeping the data updated.


• Keeping a track of the CAD release from start to the end.


• Liaising with 3DX, Smartsheet team, and function groups to keep the process, system and tracker updated.


• Supporting the development and implementation of a PLM and ERP system


• Monitoring system efficiency and propose changes to improvement functionality
  
  Display evident engineering coordination experience within the automotive industry



• Solid understanding of design standards, release standards and engineering drawing standards.


A good working knowledge of whole vehicle structuring is essential.

PLM experience is a must.

• Knowledge of 3D Experience (PLM) system


Proven success in applying processes in automotive or other applicable industries.

Experience of coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. Relevant experience in BoM Management and release process management.
