Full Job Description
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Engineering Resource Manager to join our Engineering team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standard, supporting a safe and effective learning environment that fosters student success and aligns with industry expectations.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
As a key member of the Engineering team, your primary responsibilities are:
Develop and maintain high-quality learning environments and resources, sourcing best-in-class equipment while ensuring cost-effective use and adherence to budgets.
Health and Safety Leadership positive health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with B&FC policies and maintaining inclusive and secure learning spaces.
Oversee procurement, maintenance, and calibration of equipment, managing contracts with external providers to ensure value for money and alignment with curricular needs.
Support curriculum planning by aligning resources with industry standards, managing capital expenditure, and leading projects to implement new initiatives and facilities.
