Full Job Description

We are excited to offer an Engineering Stores Co-ordinator role on a full-time basis working within an engineering store environment to provide store and administrative support to the maintenance department and operational sites. Play a meaningful role to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues and others by working safely within the team, aware of hazards within your work area, wider site and operating procedures and preventing incidents from occurring. Actively working with 3rd party/in-house Maintenance Repair Overhall Procurement team to support optimization of Engineering spares stock holding. Some of the Key Accountabilities are

  • Following Diageo stores processes held in the internal data management system to ensure compliance is met. Actively working with Diageo Stores network to identify process improvement activities.
  • Working in line with operating procedures to ensure all hazards/risks are led and familiar with hazard/incident reporting processes
  • Ensure that inventory and non-inventory items are receipted, stock reservations led and kitted for planned maintenance activities to fulfil Diageo business needs.
  • Ensure engineering spares SAP material masters are maintained to Diageo standards (Naming convention, part numbers applied; Bill of Materials generated; no duplicate materials across storage locations; min/max level optimisation; annual aged stock reviews; criticality analysis from maintenance teams applied to new parts).
  • Build and lead Purchase Information Records (PIR's) and Source Lists.
  • Ensure that inventory and non-inventory items within storage are protected from damage and loss in line with local and CARM directives.
  • Maintain high levels of 5S in stores to support achievement of H&S, environmental standards, and efficient stores layout and materials movements.
  • Conduct inter-stores transfers to improve Diageo/Market stock turn and aged stock profile.
  • Review Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system-generated orders to ensure restocking stock recommendations and Purchase Information Records (PIRs) are accurate.

    HNC level qualification in engineering or equivalent, or validated through experience.
  • Good understanding of store operations
  • Proficient in use of systems like data management systems, SAP, MS Office applications or equivalent.
  • Continuous improvement approach
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to drive improvements.
  • Positive teammate with the ability to work remotely with store counterparts across Diageo sites.
  • Excellent communication skills, good attitude, and professional conduct are vital.
  • Forklift truck driver (training will be given if not certificated) at applicable sites.
