Full Job Description
To effectively supervise and provide line management for the day-to-day mobile operation of the contract engineering team/ supply partners, to ensure that compliance with standards are adhered to at all times (mandatory, statutory, contractual), to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the contract's Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric services.,
- Provide leadership to the mobile engineering teams ensuring their delivery meets the contract requirements and their development and engagement is maintained to the highest level.
- Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the sites M&E Plant and Equipment and Fabric Services.
- Management of the customer CAFM System to ensure staff's performance and monitor service delivery.
- Compliance with and record keeping for customers Quality Management System and management of the Quality, Health, Safety + Environment responsibilities of the contract.
- Organise and carry out reactive repairs to the sites M&E systems.
- Prioritising and completing reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks and reporting to the regional contract manager, ensuring optimum levels of service delivery are being achieved.
- Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
- First line supervision of Specialist Supply Partners, including Inductions, regular reviews, signing off and actioning minor works listed on service report sheets in conjunction with the Regional Contract Manager and within the contracted reactive maintenance threshold.
- Formulating, Assessing and Validating Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Ownership of own tasks, organising of own materials / quotations from suppliers to enable completion of tasks
- Attendance of company meetings or training courses as required
- Operational day to day requirements from client or Supervisor / Manager
- Conducting contractor monitoring audits
- Responsible for raising & closing out hazard reports in live environment.
- Following of operational processes to facilitate in efficient operation of the contract.
- Assist the contract / business in creating innovative tools or creating new innovative ideas to facilitate the maintenance to the contract.
- Adherence & application of organisational policies and procedures, Success Measures/Objectives:
- Contract SLA's and KPI's are met/ exceeded.
- Staff's performance is of high standard.
- Positive engineer engagement scores.
- The QHSE responsibilities are managed.
- Contract is statutory compliant.
- Completion of Planned Maintenance + Reactive works are completed effectively and efficiently.
- Sub-contracted services are carried out, managed efficiently and effectively as per the schedule. Accountabilities
- Reporting to a CBRE Managed Services Regional Contract Manager.
- Accountability to the CBRE Managed Services functional heads, as appropriate.
- Accountable day-to-day to the relevant client contacts.
- Line management responsibility for a regional engineering team and indirectly for relevant sub-contractors.

- Experience of line managing a hard-service, facilities engineering team across a complex estate.
- Line management experience
- Technical background in Mechanical, electrical or fabric
- Experience within retail industry (desirable)
