Full Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. This role involves creating an engaging learning environment, fostering students' love for literature, and enhancing their communication skills. The English Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and encourage critical thinking., Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, to students of varying abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
- Organise extracurricular activities related to English literature and language to enhance student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices and share resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.

A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the English language curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Experience in teaching English at the secondary level is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and record keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on educational best practices.
