Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and qualified English Teacher to join our highly regarded English department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level. The role requires excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to delivering engaging and effective lessons.,

  • Teach English Language and Literature to students at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level
  • Develop and deliver inspiring lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school productions and English clubs
  • Collaborate with the English department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
  • Act as a mentor and pastoral support for students

    A qualified teacher with a relevant degree in English or a related field
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching English at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for the English language and literature
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
