Full Job Description

Calderdale College is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to work across all curriculum areas to support the retention, achievement and progression of 16-19 students on vocational study programmes. The Enhance Coach will work as part of a wider team to ensure students achieve their qualifications and to support them in their next steps in education or employment.
The appropriate applicant will ideally have experience of working with young people in an education or training setting, be adaptable and learner focused with a passion for vocational education. This role requires someone who is a dynamic and innovative individual with the ability to influence and motivate students. Experience of coaching and/or supporting young people is preferable but more importantly is an understanding of the barriers they might face whilst at college.
When we shortlist potential candidates, we will inform those who have been shortlisted that online searches maybe conducted as part of the due diligence checks. The college will ensure to communicate the lawful basis on which this personal information will be collected.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointments are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
To apply, please visit the Calderdale College website.
