Full Job Description

The college is looking for enrolment assistants on a casual/bank basis to assist with its enrolments processes within the Learner Experience Team and support at Skills Scans sessions where learners attend to ensure they are offered and enrolled onto the correct course.

Full training will be given, and successful applicants will work shadow until fully trained.

Within this role you will assist/provide support with the following:

Enrolments
- Support the enrolment process as and when required
- Assist learners in completing any required forms as part of the enrolment process
- Attend lessons / workshops in the community to ensure all learners are enrolled onto courses and any evidence is collected
- Collect the required evidence for eligibility (e.g. Proof of residency, proof of address)
- Enter on the Management Information System (MIS) details of any documentation seen
- Follow funding guidance in relation to who qualifies for full or reduced fee remission
- Gather information from learners on any additional support needs or disabilities related to their enrolment and learning, and action in line with college processes

Skills Scans - under the direction of the tutor
- Support the collection of eligibility paperwork from learners
- Assist learners with completing the online or paper enrolment form
- Assist learners around the College and skills scans process
- Assist learners to complete any forms as part of the skills scans process as directed by the tutor
- Support the skills scans sessions as required by the tutor

General
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- Be involved in extra activities such as open days, events and presentation evenings as required by the College.
- Comply with any arrangements, where applicable, for the secure storage of documents.
- Perform any other duties reasonably expected to be undertaken by the post holder at this level as required and in line with the business needs of the College.

You must be available to work daytime and evenings. Hours will be offered in advance, but flexibility is essential.
You will be required to be mobile within the Borough and work at other sites/venues in line with the business needs of the College.
