Full Job Description

We are looking for a well-motivated, flexible and adaptable person who enjoys a challenge to join the busy ENT Admin Team. This role will include preparing clinics, sitting clinic reception, and liaising with patients, clinicians and the rest of the ENT team., + To prep allocated consultant clinic notes.
+ Sit on the main clinic and report patient attendance.
+ Ensure all relevant information required for outpatient appointments is recorded and in the case notes.
+ To update any missing outcomes on report.
+ To attend in-service training meetings to ensure skills and knowledge are kept up-to-date and appropriate to post.
+ Any other duties commensurate with the role and service needs.

2. Prioritise work in appropriate order to ensure work is completed within agreed targets times.
3. Clinic preparation specifically retrieval of notes, filing, tracking in and out.
4. Photocopying, filing, or any administrative duties as deemed necessary to support the patient journey.
5. To utilise the Track-IT system to update case note tracking.
6. To ensure all outcomes are recorded accurately both paper and electronic
7. To attend all mandatory training as required by the CMG/Trust

The right applicant will ideally have previous clerical and customer service experience. You should be enthusiastic, motivated and have excellent communication and organisational skills. You should be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise your own workload. You will be expected to use your initiative and discretion, have an enthusiasm for your work and an excellent 'team' working ethos which is essential for our service to succeed.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Please note if you are successful in obtaining this position and the post involves regulated activity you will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
The Trust will pay for the check initially and the money will then be deducted from your salary over a three month period commencing on your first month's payment.
The current price of a check is £38 for an enhanced and £18 for a standard check.
COVID 19 Risk Assessment
