Full Job Description

Here at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort our 2024 season is in full swing, and we are recruiting for an Entertainment Events Operations Manager to join the team!

The Event Operations Manager will plan and deliver our most exciting event experiences across the LEGOLAND Windsor operational calendar including, but not limited to, February Half Term, Brick or Treat (Halloween) & Christmas at LEGOLAND.

Successful candidates must have great attention to detail, hold the ability to plan and organise event assets & props and have superior standards of communication as you will be the key liaison between the Entertainment Team and both the wider resort and external contractors.

You will be confident in your delivery of drafting and implementing set up & pack down rotas for the wider Entertainment Management Team, which will include de-rigging of all venues, ensuring all equipment is appropriately serviced and stored in preparation for the following season. The Event Operations Manager should be comfortable with budgeting finances, negotiating with suppliers where necessary and presenting back your financial data via a comprehensive budget tracker.

This role is a hands-on events position so you must be comfortable working outside in all weathers, be mindful of Health & Safety best practice within an event setting (for example heavy lifting, tethering of temporary installations such as fences or marquees) and have an awareness of undertaking risk assessments, though additional training can be provided by our in house Health & Safety team.

The Event Operations Manager forms part of the Resort Entertainment Team so you will also undertake the role of Entertainment Duty Manager, overseeing the full Entertainment offering and ensuring it is of the highest standard.

  • Previous experience organising and implementing high volume events is essential

  • Experience working within an Entertainment function in a theme park setting is desired

  • A proactive approach to planning, prioritising and communication

  • You should be a confident communicator, both with internal colleagues and external contractors

  • An awareness of the LEGO brand and passion for elevating our existing experiences with innovative and creative ideas

We are looking for an Entertainment Events Operations Manager to join our AWESOME team at the UK's favourite children's theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
