Full Job Description
Our Building Services team are looking for an Estates Officer (Mechanical Officer) to join the team at Kingsmill Hospital in Mansfield. The purpose of the role will be to ensure the efficient and effective operation of electrical/ mechanical and related systems and service and the promotion of compliance to statutory and good engineering practices. What you'll do:
- Prepare, implement and control schemes of reactive/preventative planned maintenance to statutory and good engineering/industry practice, within agreed financial limits and Trust standing financial instructions.
- Supports the Trust in management of Estates personnel and industrial relations matters.
- To review all service reports and ensure any follow-on action is completed within a reasonable time and record in the CAFM system.
- To assist in the establishment and maintaining of estate records, surveys and reports necessary to run an effective and safer service.
Experience of working in Hospitals and on Hospital Infrastructure is essential, particularly with regards to critical ventilation systems, F-Gas equipment, medical gas systems, fire alarm systems and pressure systems within a hospital setting. Acute Hospital experience preferred. Knowledge and experience of other hospital services would be an advantage. - Familiarity with Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) and Heath Building Notes (HBN's)
