UTAC is looking for an Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Graduate to support on the implementation of its sustainability strategy at Group level. As part of our carbon reduction journey, we have measured our corporate carbon footprint for Scope 1, 2 and 3, and set our science-based carbon reduction targets.

This role would suit an analytical, motivated, enthusiastic, approachable and pragmatic individual with a passion for sustainability.

You will be working closely with and learn from the Group's ESG Manager.

Based at our prestigious Millbrook location (with hybrid working opportunity), the role will be varied with plenty of opportunities to develop. You will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of colleagues internationally, at Group level, from cross-disciplines: Members of the Executive team, Finance, HR Team including Talent and Capability, Facilities, Health and Safety, Environment, Procurement, Legal, IT, Audit and Compliance, Sales and Marketing, Communication and more.

Role outline

  • Coordinate and support with sustainable reporting requirements, including climate information (Scope 1, 2 and 3), for shareholders, regulators (e.g. CSRD), sustainability frameworks (e.g. CDP, Ecovadis), customers and other stakeholders as appropriate: engaging with stakeholders, collecting and managing ESG data, analysing and reporting.


  • Assist in coordinating ESG meetings with stakeholders.


  • Respond to ESG queries.


  • Work with our internal experts and Sales and Marketing team to collate information and update Supplier's Frequently Asked Questions on our ESG Hub.


  • Provide support on ESG Projects, as appropriate.

    Holding a degree in a sustainability related field.

  • Analytical, research and communication skills.


  • Experience

    Essential:
  • Demonstrated passion in ESG and/or sustainability, evidence through education, work experience or extra-curricular activities.

  • Self-motivated and highly conscientious.

  • Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • English language.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.


  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge of sustainable reporting frameworks.

  • Knowledge of sustainable finance.

  • Knowledge of carbon accounting, carbon reduction targets.

  • French language skills would be an asset.
