RSK Group is looking for a proactive, self-motivated Environmental Consultant to manage small-scale projects across Greater Manchester and support senior consultants on larger, high-profile initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with clients, oversee projects from start to finish, and ensure that each one meets RSK's exceptional standards in quality, safety, and environmental responsibility. This role offers a combination of working from home, in the office and on client sites across the region. What You'll Do:
- Project Management: Lead small projects from start to successful closeout, and play a key supporting role in larger ventures alongside our seasoned consultants.
- Client Engagement: Communicate confidently and effectively with clients, understanding and delivering on their needs with precision.
- Technical Excellence: Apply your expertise to support a diverse range of technical projects, staying compliant with legislation, RSK procedures, and SHEQ standards.
- Tender Coordination: Take charge of small tenders and assist senior team members in crafting compelling proposals for larger projects.
A degree in a relevant field and relevant practical experience from a similar organisation. - A thorough knowledge of environmental legislation, project management, and financial oversight to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communication skills that foster strong teamwork and collaboration across departments and with clients.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and impactful presentations.
