Full Job Description

  • Provide professional food safety, health & safety and related support to the operations team as required.
  • Carry out visits to locations to offer support and complete audits to ensure locations are legally compliant as well as company policy compliant and following industry "Best Practice".
  • Review accident and incident reports to ensure the necessary corrective actions have been taken following an accident or near miss.
  • Undertake accident, allergy incident and alleged food poisoning investigations, working to identify root causes, attending client meetings with operations where required.
  • Support for developing, engaging and rolling out safety initiatives and information to meet the company's expectations.
  • Support the development of a strong safety culture across the contract.
  • Support with online systems, to ensure compliance and raise maintenance tickets to support with location safety.
  • Support in the management and review of third party and client audits.
  • Prepare reports and present at meetings both internally and with the client.
  • Attend Client meetings to offer sound advice and help ensure BaxterStorey policies & practices mesh with Client requirements.
  • Work with the wider Food, Health & Safety Team to review and develop safety documentation, projects, training, and safety initiatives., We work together as a team to lead by example, protecting the planet and supporting local communities.

  • Recent Graduate of a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health.
  • Must have full driving licence.
  • You draw satisfaction from influencing, training and supporting a team.
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
  • Keep up to date with appropriate legislation and company policy and procedures
