As we grow the organization at high speed, we're looking for a Sr. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our efforts in maintaining Health, safety and environmental compliance in the EMEA and LATAM region as we work towards a gold standard in EHS excellence.. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced EHS Sr. Manager / Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating environmental health and safety (EHS) programs and policies for the organization across the EMEA and LATAM region. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing safety procedures, training employees on EHS regulations, and investigating accidents and incidents.The successful candidate will be an experienced, innovative, hands-on and customer-centric individual, passionate about EHS, and able to identify, coordinate and drive improvements in EHS whilst engaging stakeholders.You will possess experience rolling out regional projects from start to finish; excellent interpersonal skills. As a leader in our organization, you must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. You will instruct and train facility and regional leaders on PANW EHS processes and assist the teams in incorporating our EHS standards at their offices. This position will be based in our London Office. In this position, your core responsibilities will be to assure that PANW employees are trained and knowledgeable on their EHS responsibilities, collaborate engage with stakeholders to deliver EHS solutions, assist the facilities and regional teams in incorporating our EHS standards, conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance to all applicable local regulations and corporate requirements. As the EHS Manager, you will be the point of contact of all EMEA-LATAM (Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America) EHS escalations and processes and you will be able to engage in regional projects and initiatives.

  • Lead the charge to identify systemic EHS gaps, develop corrective measures and implement solutions to sustain compliance with EHS law. Leverage lessons learned and develop continuous improvement EHS programs.
  • Provide EHS service, solutions, programs, best practices and technical guidance to business management and support functions to effectively and efficiently manage compliance assurance and EHS risk mitigation.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on all EHS matters, and regionally advise business units to ensure compliance with local regulatory law.
  • Act as a business enabler, with a service first mindset to keep all employees and visitors safe.
  • Monitor, interpret, and assess existing or emerging EHS laws, regulations, regulatory policy, and industry practices, determine operational and business impacts and develop policy, training material, and processes to effectively manage applicable or relevant requirements.
  • Develop policies and supporting documentation for the regional Environmental, Health, and Safety Program.
  • Use data, metrics and qualitative feedback to make sound strategic decisions and show ROI
  • Using a risk-based approach, scale support regionally through a combination of standards and awareness and regionalized support solutions.
  • Lead the charge on compliance calendaring (i.e. training, certifications, required registrations, etc.)
  • Manage the ergonomics program and ensure scaleable support for our staff.
  • Manage the Emergency Response Team Program. Ensure its execution and training is regionally scalable and in alignment with Global Safety and Security standards.
  • Collect, measure and analyze company-wide, regional and site EHS training metrics and KPI performances, to discover trends for continuous improvement or corrective measures. Perform management reviews and report on EHS training performance and tactical and strategic improvement planning.
  • Partner and collaborate with the business and support functions, to influence and manage EHS resources and projects and EHS training decisions.
  • Develop and implement company-wide employee safety and injury prevention training programs.
  • Design, develop, author, and manage company EHS policies, standards, programs and processes to ensure regional and Global compliance with applicable local, regional, national and federal EHS regulations, directives and standards; and mitigate, prevent or control EHS risks arising from operations or the business.
  • Coordinating the region's wide Medical and Eye Health Program
  • Investigate and support all EHS related incident investigation (in all capacities) from start to finish including investigating accidents and incidents, recommend corrective actions, and incident metrics tracking.
  • Serve as the Prevention Officer for the Netherlands
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards, including driving remediation of any safety gaps identified from assessments.
  • Analyze EHS metrics quarterly to discover trends and rationalize the allocation of resources to areas where the EHS risk is highest and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures for all operations.
  • Arranging, facilitating and contributing to worker consultation and participation; e.g. EHS committee meetings.
  • Oversee Emergency Response Teams (ERT) program in the region.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on EHS regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain EHS records and documentation.
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on EHS regulations and industry best practices.
  • Work with other departments to ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
  • 2 -3 hours daily collaboration with US and/or JAPAC EHS team
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of regional auditing of EHS compliance, company EHS policy and standards
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the company has a well-designed, implemented and scaleable approach to EHS compliance management.
  • Drive both cost and operational efficiency through the program as it scales, while also continuously innovating.

    A minimum of 15 years of EHS experience, with at least 7+ years' experience managing regional EHS policies, standards, programs, or procedures, in a supervisory role at multinational companies.
  • 5+ years' experience of applied international EHS compliance management, including regulatory and permitting in Europe, Latin America, South America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of the Netherlands local jurisdiction Workplace Health and Safety compliance landscape
  • Experience in managing ergonomic programs and possess Ergonomics Certification.
  • Extensive experience with risk management in datacenters and electrical safety.
  • Degree in Safety, Engineering, Occupational Health or other related field.
  • Professional EHS certification (NEBOSH international General Certificate (IGC), IOSH Managing Safely, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor).
  • Possess EHS Certifications such as NEBOSH international General Certificate (IGC), IOSH Managing Safely, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
