Full Job Description

You will be capable of providing environmental advice regarding surface water management, environmental incidents on a wide range of projects primarily in the East Midlands.

  • Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites

  • Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans

  • Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptions

  • Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency/ National Resources Wales

  • Response / management of environmental incidents including, fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges

  • Advice and on site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination and waste management

  • Production of quotations/tenders for new projects

  • Management of clients and projects

    There is a range of opportunities for individuals with between 2 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector.

  • Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy

  • Able to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators

  • A track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget

  • Full UK driving licence
