Full Job Description

You will be conducting environmental assessments, monitor environmental quality, design and implement environmental policies and programs, and provide technical advice and guidance to stakeholders and clients as well you will be collaborating with other environmental professionals, such as engineers, scientists, lawyers, and regulators, to ensure compliance with environmental laws and standards.

As an Environmental Specialist your Responsibilities are:

  • Conduct environmental assessments, inspections, and investigations to identify and evaluate environmental issues and risks.


  • Collect, analyse, and interpret environmental data and prepare reports and recommendations.


  • Maintain and fill in online portal for carbon footprint reporting.


  • Develop and implement environmental management plans, programs, and strategies to prevent, reduce, or mitigate environmental impacts.


  • Provide environmental training, education, and awareness to staff and clients.


  • Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and operations.


  • Coordinate and communicate with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, industry associations, community groups, and NGOs, on environmental matters.


  • Research and keep abreast of current and emerging environmental trends, technologies, and best practices.


  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, policies, and standards.

    Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards, such as ISO 14001, NEPA, and CEQA.


  • Ability to conduct environmental research, analysis, and reporting using various software and tools.


  • Strong networking and people skills. Ability to exercise diplomacy and build partnerships and consensus, within teams and among other stakeholders.


  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.


  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work unsupervised, to tight deadlines.


  • Clear evidence of working in a pressured, time sensitive environment.


  • Holds relevant professional qualifications.
