Full Job Description

As an EPOS Systems Assistant, you will work with the EPOS Hospitality system. Alongside the Systems Manager, you will ensure that it is set up and running as needed for race days and events. You will ensure the efficient and effective management of financial systems and software, including the Kappture EPoS system and stock management K-Stock system. You will also work closely with the event operators to ensure they are familiar with using tills and EPOS, and support them in event setup and onsite support during live events.,

  • Ensure the Kappture system is properly configured and fully operational for Retail, Fine Dining, Boxes, Conferencing, and Events operations in a timely manner.
  • Support the training team in the production and maintenance of accurate training documentation and user guides.
  • Provide operational commercial support for all racedays.
  • Ensure compliance with the EPOS Payment Process.
  • Coach and lead EPOS support staff for racing.
  • Offer operational commercial support for C&E (Conferences and Events) and, where required, be on call to offer remote support.
  • Assist with the management of stocking policies and pricing classifications within the Kappture system.
  • Make time-critical alterations to menus, products, and pricing for race days and C&E events. Assist with upgrading and managing old or damaged hardware.
  • Deploy retail POS systems and payment solutions across temporary sites for events.
  • Resolve issues remotely using TeamViewer or by visiting units in person.
  • Monitor terminals to ensure all are online and connected to the network during operation.

    Ideally, you will have held a similar position working in the hospitality industry. A good working knowledge of EPOS, stock control, and reporting systems is essential, and experience with the Kappture system is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of a high-volume retail environment and stock-taking processes is desirable.
