Full Job Description

As an Epic (EPR) Credentialed Trainer the post holder is responsible for:

  • Assisting with the delivery of the Trust's new electronic patient record (EPR) system training programme
  • Delivering day-to-day end-user training for members of RMH staff on multiple system packages
  • Successfully completing RMH's Credentialed Trainer training programme within a specified timeframe
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and testing the training to ensure it is safe, usable, secure and robust., 1. Work closely with the designated area's Principal Trainer, Training Manager and build team to administer training packages to reflect the Epic system build.
  • 2. Be an expert in the training workflows, troubleshoot problems and address questions from end users. 1. Participate in general administrative support for all training activities related to end-user training. 2. Provide support to end-users through regular meetings and by participating in the Helpdesk rota. Work with Learning and Development as necessary to ensure all training is being reported properly on the Learning Management System (LMS). Be responsible for own area of work, working autonomously to plan and organise workload. 1. Present training packages and workflows in an easy to understand format to individuals and/or groups of Trust staff, including at senior and director level; 2. Ensure end-users are given the appropriate levels of access and security to the EPR system as defined by their job role. 1. Meet regularly with the Training Manager, Principal Trainers, and/or Application Teams to negotiate with, review and the training package.
