Full Job Description

Over the next five years we will deliver our strategic vision through our excellence portfolio, made up of five core programmes of work. We are making significant headway on a number of projects which will support this outcome, most notably (but not exclusively): - Implementation of an EPR - Optimising our patient portal, implementing digital letters, digital remote consent and digital pre-operative assessment The successful implementation of the above new digital tools will be heavily built upon a robust and detailed training project, which will cover all Moorfields staff (clinical and non-clinical) across all our 21 network sites. The EPR Training and Engagement Lead, will be the responsible for designing, coordinating and oversee the delivery of the EPR training across all of our network sites, and will play a vital role during the design and implementation phases. The EPR Training and Engagement Lead, will be the responsible for engaging with staff across our network to design, coordinate and oversee the delivery of the EPR training across the Trust and our network sites, assuring high attendance, completion, and an overall safe go live of the EPR. Will be engaging with staff from across the Trust and our network and act as an advocate for the EPR, presenting and collecting feedback from staff on the ground, around the solutions and interface, during all phases of the implementation (design, testing, iteration) and supporting a safe go live of the EPR. Is required to communicate complex and sometimes highly contentious information to groups of staff and or stakeholders. Will be responsible to provide EPR Board level assurance and progress reports for training.

Provides specialist subject matter advice in relation to EPR to the Chief Information Officer, Director of IT, Clinicians, General Managers and Directors across the range of responsibilities. Will be working closely with the Clinical and Operational Leads for EPR and also with the Head of Learning and Development to coordinate, capture and deliver the EPR training across the trust. Will be responsible for the development of a 'training needs' assessment tool for all staff including clinical, operational, and administrative staff groups working within the Trust, by engaging with staff groups, unions and staff networks to create an accessible and attractive to staff training package.
