Equestrian Yard Grounds Maintenance Assistant

Keysoe International LTD is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Assistant who has experience of working in an equestrian or agricultural setting. This role will operate as part of the Grounds Team but will specialise in all tasks relating to the competition yard. Tasks include paddock maintenance, fence maintenance, weed & pest control, carrying out repairs, delivering feed, emptying muck bins and any other tasks required to deliver a smooth operation.

Role Objectives

• Maintain paddocks including seeding, spray and topping and fencing


• Carry-out facilities maintenance tasks on yard including routine checks


• Safe use of telehandler to deliver feed and hay and empty muck bins


• Spraying weeds


• Washing horseboxes


• Follow H&S guidance at all times


• Ad-hoc tasks as required
  
  Practical experience in Grounds Maintenance, with particular focus on paddock maintenance in either an equestrian or agricultural setting


• Full UK driving License


• Experienced operator of tractor, telehandler, lawnmower and strimmer


• Ideally PA1 / PA6 qualified


• Good communicator
