To produce regular and insightful research output as agreed with the HOR and global PM team, including relevant financial/valuation models, cash flow and profit forecasts.

To work collaboratively within the Research team and IIM business, adding value through own specialist sector and company knowledge.

Participate in company visits / meetings / conferences to achieve an understanding of that company's strengths and weaknesses, and as an ambassador for Investec.

Contribute to marketing of sector and stock research ideas with clients and internal stakeholders, including meetings in person and remotely, appropriately seeking recognition through votes where relevant.

Prior work experience as an analyst is required, preferably In the Technology sector and or Internet Platform stock space.

Ability to participate in team research projects/initiatives as and when required.

Exceptional technical research skills, highly numerate, competence in Excel, Word, and 3rd party information systems (Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, etc.).

Excellent interpersonal skills and be able present effectively in front of groups of people. A strong work ethic and an ability to work within a team environment are important attributes
