Full Job Description

We have a new permanent opportunity for an ER and Change Manager to join the HR Team based at our Oldham office. We currently offer hybrid working. The successful candidate will lead and develop the ER and Change team to deliver high quality and consistent HR advice, supporting stakeholders with a broad range of HR change activity, including collective and individual consultations. You must have considerable experience in OD, ER and Change and be able to lead on TUPE transfers, redundancy, including project and risk planning. You will also be responsible for analysing trends and will lead on continuous improvement activity within the team, collaborating with key stakeholders to manage risk appropriately. What we are looking for You will not only be an experienced ER and Change Manger, but you will also have great leadership skills and be enthusiastic about ER and Change management.

  • Significant Employee Relations and Change Management experience, including handing high volume and complex HR issues
  • Experience handling mergers, acquisitions, and TUPE transfers both in and out and co-ordinating large-scale consultations
  • Sound Employment Law knowledge, with a proven ability to provide practical and commercial advice, managing both sensitivities and risks appropriately
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams and of training and developing managers and team members.
  • Experience of working in a customer-centric culture
  • Excellent listening and influencing skills.
  • Experience of delivering service improvements
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
  • Demonstrates the Leadership and Management Standard., MCIPD or CIPD qualified to level 7
