  • Providing written/telephone expert ER advice and guidance to managers at all levels across the business
  • Managing a portfolio of ER cases providing progressive tailored advice, scheduling and prioritising activities based on the risk assessment and needs of each case.
  • Reviewing/drafting letters and documents related to ER cases and providing feedback to managers. Coaching and upskilling managers in all aspects of people management including robust decision-making, fairness, and consistency of application of our ER policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring all case management details are recorded accurately on our People Case Management system and that cases are proactively managed and driven through to conclusion.
  • Reporting into the ER Advisory Services Team Leaders you will collaborate with wider HR teams and stakeholders to address complex ER matters.
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the ER Advisory Service

    Have you got excellent interpersonal, telephone, and written skills and a passion for promoting positive employee relations? Do you have ER case management experience, particularly focussing on complex ER matters in a fast-paced environment?, To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent written and telephone communication skills
  • Experience in coaching and upskilling managers Questioning and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to deliver commercially savvy, pragmatic HR solutions to complex Employee Relations cases, with a strong focus on managing risk
  • Ability to work in partnership with customers and stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified (level 5)
  • Passion for continuous improvement and self-development
