Full Job Description

University Hospitals of Derby & Burton have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Administrator to join the Trust's busy and dynamic Medical & Dental (M&D) E-rostering Team for a 12 month period. The M&D E-rostering Team provide support for the implementation and maintenance of the Trust's electronic rostering systems. This includes reporting, trouble-shooting, solving queries and more. The E-rostering Senior Administrator will be the first point of contact for M&D rostering queries and willprovide support to the E-rostering Facilitator and E-rostering Improvement Manager on implementation and efficiencies. The role will require strong customer service skills and excellent negotiation and persuasion techniques, together with the ability to produce and analyse system generated data; carrying out calculations and adjustments as required. The role is fast-paced and varied and requires a passion for problem-solving plus the ability to prioritise own workload. Support E-rostering system users, liaising with staff at all levels and across multiple staffing groups Use of electronic rostering system in line with Trust vision Assist E-rostering Facilitator and Improvement Manager in the roll out and maintenance of an electronic rostering system across the Trust, providing support and training as required Maintenance of roster information, making calculations and system adjustments to ensure accuracy of data Troubleshooting of issues, proactively seeking process improvements to benefit both service and end user

Previous experience working within the NHS and/or similar environments and use of an electronic rostering system are desirable but not essential, as a full training package will be provided
