Full Job Description
You will work as part of a busy team and will be key in ensuring the Trust can deliver an efficient service in respect of roster aspects., The Trust's strategy is to roll out the eRostering beyond nursing and to other areas of the Clinical Workforce. This has created an additional vacancy within the team to facilitate this roll-out and to enable the team to continue to deliver an excellent business as usual support service for current users.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for providing support, advice and information on the system to end users with regard to the management of rosters within their departments, along with training new users, whilst ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance to Trust policy. The workload for the eRostering team is managed through a central mailbox, which end users are asked to use and it is the responsibility of the whole team to prioritise and work through the workload as it is received.
The Trust have a number of ongoing initiatives which require the support of the eRostering team, which you will be required to be involved with where required. You will be fundamental in the roll-out of rostering to new areas and be responsible for the building and creation of new rosters, along with providing best practice advice and information to new roster users. You will also be responsible for training all new users on the fundamentals of the roster from creation and best practice, in line with Trust policy and standards.
Delivering an eRostering service to over 9,500 employees at present, you will work as part of a busy team and will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills to ensure effective service delivery.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to provide training to end users and ideally will have previous experience of working within the NHS delivering eRostering services.
