Full Job Description

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an Escalator Cleaning Machine Operative to join our team working nationally across the UK!
This role will entail providing high-quality escalator cleaning services using specialized equipment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role requires an individual capable of working independently and maintaining a professional demeanour.,

  • Operate escalator cleaning machines to clean and maintain escalators in commercial properties.

  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order, reporting any issues to the Operations Supervisor.

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies on site.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address concerns.

  • Complete all necessary documentation and reports accurately and promptly.

  • Be flexible to work varying shifts, including some nights and early shifts as required.

  • Maintain a smart and presentable appearance, ensuring professionalism in all client interactions.

    Experience with escalator cleaning equipment is not necessary; full training will be provided.

  • Valid driver's license with no more than 6 penalty points.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to work varying shifts, including some nights and early shifts.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move equipment as required.
