Admiral is seeking a skilled and innovative ESG Procurement Executive to join our team. This role combines the expertise of strategic procurement with a strong focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating sustainable procurement strategies, ensuring supply chain resilience, and aligning sourcing decisions with Admiral's ESG goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help lead in shaping our procurement policies to foster sustainable growth and make a meaningful impact on our company's environmental and social footprint.,

  • Develop, implement, and manage sustainable procurement policies and practices that align with Admiral's overall ESG objectives.
  • Drive the integration of ESG principles into the procurement lifecycle, from supplier selection to contract management and evaluation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships, emphasising those who share Admiral's commitment to ESG principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with Admiral's ESG roadmap.
  • Identify and manage ESG-related risks in the procurement process, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular supplier assessments and audits to ensure adherence to ESG standards, promoting continual improvement.
  • Communicate the benefits of sustainable procurement internally and externally, fostering awareness and buy-in across all levels of the organisation.
  • Attend procurement representative meetings across Admiral's various Sustainability working groups and forums, reporting on initiatives, progress, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about relevant industry trends, ESG standards, and regulatory changes to guide and update Admiral's procurement practices.
  • Help to implement current reporting mechanisms to track ESG compliance, producing metrics and insights that contribute to Admiral's annual sustainability report.

    Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Environmental Science, or related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, LEED, or CSR certifications) are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in procurement, with a focus on sustainable or ESG-driven procurement highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements within the procurement and supply chain space.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and sustainable sourcing.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and advocate for sustainable practices.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in developing and monitoring KPIs, reporting on sustainability metrics, and applying data-driven insights to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using data to assess procurement performance and sustainability impacts, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Skilled in managing projects that involve cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders to achieve measurable results.

    We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate's experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
