The Role

We are looking for someone who is a great communicator and cares about keeping our school operating at it's best.

The Estates Assistant will work with the estates team and external contractors carrying out the operation and maintenance of the estate. Cheadle Hulme School is a large estate that requires a significant amount of operational support to keep things running smoothly. The Estates Assistant will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining a safe, sustainable and conducive environment for teaching, learning and administrative functions within its prestigious Grade II listed estate.

The role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the estate by maintaining high standards of facilities management and fostering a dedication to its further development.

The role is 37.5 hours a week with an annual salary of £24,560 plus benefits including free lunches during term time, a generous pension scheme, access to site facilities including our swimming pool and gym.

Why Cheadle Hulme School?

Our pupils' educational experience is stimulating, dynamic and relevant to their current and future needs. We have a strong sense of community, whilst our unparalleled pastoral provision reflects our deeply caring ethos.

We believe a successful educational experience involves more than pupil and teacher; it involves a broad network of people who each contribute to the development, growth and experience of the individual.

Our greatest asset, and the key to our success is our people. We want to attract and retain the best, provide them with encouragement and ensure they feel valued as an integral part of the School community. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, excellent facilities and IT resources and a friendly and supportive working environment.

We are an equal opportunities employer and promote equality and diversity across the whole school community.

If you would like to understand more about the role, the recruitment process or working at CHS, we encourage you to get in touch either via email at humanresources@chschool.co.uk or call us on .

The salary for the role will be based on the School Professional Services pay scale and will be commensurate with experience. Further details can be found in the applicant information pack and job description.

The closing date for applications is Monday 7 October at 8am. Shortlisting and interviews are due to take place shortly after.
