Full Job Description
NHS Property Services enables excellent patient care by acting as a trusted advisor to the NHS and by providing the best estate solutions. We manage 2,700 properties with 6,300 customers across England, which accounts for approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Our properties range from listed buildings to new integrated care centres and include hospitals, GP practices and offices. The Estates Co-ordinator Graduate will support the Senior Estates Manager to ensure that local site services meet the needs of colleagues, patients and visitors within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with policies and procedures, legislation and statutory requirements. The Graduate role will be responsible for the co-ordination of the in-house/outsourced services in a facilities service provision across a portfolio of properties. The graduate role will be part of the company-wide graduate programme where they will be part of a cohort of graduates across the organisation and will undertake an induction, learning pathway, be matched with a mentor and have regular check-ins with the Talent team. What you will do
- Support the planning and co-ordination of all activities in a portfolio of properties to the agreed SLAs including responding to customer issues, managing contracted services, purchase to pay process / budgeting etc.
- Co-ordinate regular inspections and checks with the service teams and contractors including building audits and compliance and produce reports to ensure risks are mitigated
- Undertake the auditing, reporting and investigation of security issues and incidents within the property portfolio
- Support the Senior Estates Manager to deliver the reporting and monitoring of maintenance, repairs, health & safety, and compliance issues within the property portfolio
- Responsible for administrative duties to ensure property information is managed and updated in the building database, maintain asset registers, etc.

- Ability to travel to attend head offices (London, Birmingham, Stockport) for work and training purposes
- We would like to see experience being in a fast-paced working environment in a customer facing role and/or working and/or working with different people/teams to achieve shared objectives - this can be in a sports team or a community group
- Volunteering or community work experience
This role is based in London and is required to be on site within a portfolio of properties in the London area for 4 - 5 days per week. We have a hybrid model that involves travel to our sites/offices and some remote working.
