The University of South Wales is a vibrant University nestled in the beautiful South Wales valleys

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Estates and Facilities Health and Safety Compliance Officer, working alongside the Property Services team. The post holder will play a key role in offering professional support, advice and guidance to managers and staff within the Estates and Facilities department at the University of South Wales.

To provide professional guidance, support and assistance in promoting an active health and safety culture whilst ensuring statutory compliance throughout the Estates and Facilities department.

To monitor the health and safety performance of the department, advise and assist in the identification, implementation and monitoring of control measures and to provide guidance and support to the compliance administrator to ensure legislative compliance.

The role will be based in Pontypridd.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract.

If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd, you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
