Full Job Description

The post holder will support and assist the Estates Manager in the delivery of an efficient and effective high quality Operational Estates service upon the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary site and other Trust sites as required.

The post holder will manage and supervise maintenance contracts and directly employed labour, servicing, testing, validation, verification, maintenance and repair of buildings, engineering systems and grounds in line with Trust procedures., The post holder will be responsible for undertaking an Operational Estates Officer role at their appointed WWL base site and other WWL sitesas / when required.

The post holder will be responsible for working in close liaison with Estates Manager(s) and fellow Estates Officers.

The post holder will be responsible for organising, supervising and coordinating repair, maintenance and minor works activities undertaken by the directly employed labour workforce and external contractors.

The post holder will be responsible for organising, supervising and coordinating Trust service providers and contractors carrying out repair, maintenance and minor works activities.

The post holder will be required to undertake audits and condition surveys of the Estates built environment and associated engineering services and produce report documents based upon the findings of those activities.
