Full Job Description

We are looking for an industrious and hard-working Estates Operative to assist with the security and maintenance of both the KGV College and Southport College sites. As a key member of the of the Estates team, you will carry out proactive and reactive building repairs and maintenance work to ensure that the College sites are maintained to a high standard and remain fully operational at all times. You will be responsible for opening and/or locking the College buildings and will also assist with general porterage duties and moves and changes, as well as any other specialist estates activities commensurate with your skills and/or trade qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual looking to develop their estates, facilities or security skills and experience. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. If not already acquired, you will also demonstrate a willingness to work towards the appropriate Health and Safety, First Aid and manual handling qualifications.
