Full Job Description

  • To work with key diocesan colleagues contributing to the development of a wider diocesan strategic missional investment plan, through in-depth understanding of estates youth ministry.

  • Support deaneries and parishes as they develop their locally owned missional plans, including planning, leading and facilitating events that enable missional learning, planning and engagement around youth work in the context of estates ministry.

  • Provide advice, support and resources to area deans, clergy and missional leaders in the development of strategic planning and engagement in estates ministry.

  • Providing ongoing support and encouragement to deaneries and parishes in the delivery of youth estates ministry.

    Evidence of having completed theological training to diploma level or equivalent.

  • Evidence of a commitment to continuing ministerial development.

  • A proven track-record of expertise in delivery estates-based ministry, particularly youth work on estates.

  • A reflective practitioner who is attentive to changing patterns of mission and local contexts.

    This is a fixed term role initially for three years subject to funding.
