Full Job Description

The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water's region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure.

This is a full-time role with a mix of office (Peterborough), home and site attendance required

As our new Estimator, you'll be a vital part of the SPA's success, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality delivery across projects incl pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and water treatment plants.

You will develop CAPEX estimates at every project stage, from optioneering to detailed target cost estimates, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand and quantify scope, liaise with supply chain partners, including vendors and subcontractors, to develop cost estimates and use estimating software and MS Excel to create accurate, data-driven estimates., We have a vibrant, challenging and growing business, with project environments that provide tremendous opportunities for everybody. Engineering or Quantity Surveying degree and relevant estimating experience.
Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or process plant estimating.
Knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, or process control disciplines.
Familiarity with estimating software.
Background in building services or facilities management.
Strong numerate and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and motivational skills.
Team player with a proactive approach to deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.

This position has a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience, in addition to a fantastic benefits package including pension contribution matched up to 10%.
