Full Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Ethics and Integrity Coordinator to join the team. The Ethics and Integrity Coordinator, reporting in to Team lead, Ethics and Integrity Analyst plays a key role within the Publishing Ethics and Integrity team to ensure the research integrity function is efficient and effective, that reporting of trends are accurate and timely, and that collaborations with the Publishing Ethics and Integrity team across the business runs smoothly. What you will be doing:

  • Developing reliable reporting mechanisms to inform the wider business and anticipate areas of risk related to ethics and integrity concerns, in line with Legal and data protection criteria
  • Analyzing and preparing reports on behaviours and activity of concern, using both internal and external data to inform and update the wider business
  • Using a data driven analytical approach, explore potential solutions to areas of concern
  • Develop and implement project management systems and standards to enhance and streamline the research integrity function
  • Handling confidential information confidently and sensitively, with attention to legal and ethical considerations

    Experience in working with scholarly journals and submission systems
  • Highly proficient in working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and shared folders
  • Experience in working with PowerAutomate, PowerBI and/or Dimensions
  • Highly proficient in managing large datasets
  • Strong understanding of publication ethics standards and guidelines
  • Strong awareness of current research integrity issues and challenges to the publishing landscape
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize competing tasks effectively
  • Strong relationship building and team working skills, able to work collaboratively across the business and at all levels

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days per week on-site at our London office location (240 Blackfriars Rd, London UK), with the remainder of the week working remotely.
