Full Job Description

If it takes seriously complex IT systems to keep your organisational skills challenged, and you've never encountered a network you didn't want to improve, there's a digital revolution brewing in the UK that could use your talents., Working for CGI, onsite at one of our automotive clients our EUC Engineers are responsible for monitoring and responding to incidents, catalogue task and problem tickets. You will become part of a dynamic team responsible for the onsite IT requirements and the day-to-day delivery of service from CGI reporting to the EUC Manager.

Key Tasks:

  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines to ensure smooth operations.

  • Oversee day-to-day activities and ensure everything runs efficiently.

  • Monitor team performance and report on key metrics.

  • Serve as the point of contact for VIP and executive users for all IT-related issues.

  • Act as the escalation point for client onsite concerns.

  • Monitor and respond to Help Desk incidents, Work Orders, and requests to meet SLAs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents promptly.

  • Configure, deploy, and support end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile phones, etc.).

  • Perform daily system checks to ensure optimal performance.

  • Update the Configuration Management/CI database regularly.

  • Maintain and create technical documentation as needed.

  • Respond to client support requests with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure seamless operations.

  • Complete IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) requests efficiently.

    Demonstrable experience within a digital workplace or end-user environment.

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.

  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Decision-making skills with attention to detail.

  • Wide-ranging technical awareness.

  • Experience with IT Service Management systems, such as ServiceNow.

  • Proficiency in Windows 10 Support.

  • Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.

  • Experience working with end-user devices and understanding the basic principles of PC architecture.
