Full Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
We're looking for student photographers to take professional headshots as part of our 'Week 6: Get Set for Success' employability event for Science and Engineering students. Full details at: www.mmu.ac.uk/week6.
The successful candidates will take individual student headshots, so that attendees can use the photo on their LinkedIn profile. The photographer will need to be responsible for organising/tracking the photos, so that they can deliver the photo to the right student after editing. Time will be allocated for editing and sending the photos after the event.

If you are planning to utilise LinkedIn Profile images in your portfolio after the role is ended, you will need to work on the data protection process for asking permission from the student during or after the event.

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements -

In order to be successful for this role, you'll need to be confident with DSLR or Mirrorless cameras, Flash Lighting, White Balance, and basic photo editing. If you plan to tether the shoot to a laptop, you should be familiar with the relevant software, e.g. Lightroom or Capture One.

You'll also need to be confident in managing large groups of people, and have organisation and admin skills to document and keep track of the attending students and their photo. You may need to support members of the team with queues to help manage the student experience.
