Full Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Event Staffing Planner to join the fun and passionate Ticket Office Operations team who are responsible for the management of ingress (entry) and egress (exit) of all visitors across Goodwood's portfolio of events. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting and onboarding our casual and volunteer team(s) and developing pre and on event communications. Working with other internal teams, you will assign people to appropriate roles and ensure that they are managed over event. You'll be responsible for the smooth running of all event staffing areas leading up to and over each event as well as reconciling hours and ensuring that payroll is completed in a timely manner. You will thrive in a fast paced environment and will have the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, being flexible to support the team so they can work at optimum speed and efficiency during the event season. This role is both operational and administrative and requires flexibility in working hours, especially during the Event season. Please note that some weekend and evening working will be involved in the lead up to, and on-event.
- Previous experience of working in a busy administrative role
- Experience of working in recruitment is desirable
- Excellent organisational abilities and great IT skills (particularly Microsoft Office)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to use own initiative
- Positive and friendly with a can-do attitude with confidence communicating with others
- Resilience to work across a busy and demanding season and a great sense of fun
- Experience of working in the events industry would be an advantage but not essential
