Events Executive

About: We are looking for an ambitious and analytical individual to join our growing Digital Marketing Team in the role of Affiliate Marketing Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing division within the business., We have an exciting opportunity for an Event Executive to join our Harrods Events Team. This position will support the delivery and execution of both the Harrods Events Strategy and our Brand Partners' planned activities. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with internal and external teams, to collate event briefs and develop creative proposals. You will create event timelines and work within budgets, ensuring all aspects of event planning remain on budget while securing necessary Health and Safety approvals and completing Risk Assessment Method Statements promptly. Additionally, you will coordinate suppliers and internal teams, project managing and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure everything runs smoothly and on schedule. This role includes overseeing both domestic and international events, aligning them with our global events and marketing strategy. This role works within a wider team of 6, it is a hybrid role that follows office hours with out of hours work for events, for which time is given back in lieu. • Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Have confidence in drawing up and managing budgets and reporting back to the Senior Event Manager on running spend.
• Have experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Have a solutions-focused approach, identifying problems and bringing them to resolution
