Full Job Description

We are working with a lovely charity who are looking for an Events Executive to join their team for a 9-12 month contract.,

  • Event Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for flagship events, ensuring alignment with overall fundraising goals.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor income and expenditure, and optimise net income for each event.
  • Supporter Experience: Oversee the entire supporter journey, from initial engagement to post-event follow-up, ensuring a positive and impactful experience.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with sponsors, volunteers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to foster collaboration and maximise event success.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage complex event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor management, volunteer coordination, and risk assessment.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional campaigns to attract participants and generate public awareness.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Track key performance indicators, analyse event data, and generate comprehensive reports to inform future strategies., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter.     Proven experience in event management, preferably within a fundraising context.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organisation, and time management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant event management software.
  • A passion for working in the charity sector and a commitment to making a positive impact

    £34,500 per year
  • Full-time Contract or temporary (9-12 month FTC) Actively Interviewing,
  • Hybrid Working: Enjoy the flexibility of both remote and office-based work. 2 days per week in the charity's central London office.
  • Contract Duration: 9-12 months with a possibility of an extension.
  • Salary: Starting salary of £34,500
