Full Job Description

Would you like to work in a fast-paced environment, where you work closely with team members and are responsible for maintaining the general upkeep of our College? We are looking for someone who is proactive and will take pride in the look and feel of the property - ensuring the standard is great for our staff and members. Ideally with some experience of maintenance or facilities with a proactive approach to solving and taking ownership of problems. A relevant trade would give you the edge but is not essential. You will be taking responsibility for ensuring that the College is exceptionally well-maintained, well-presented and functional. Duties include ensuring that health and safety standards are met, first line reactive repairs and maintenance is addressed, minor redecoration and accompanying contractors where necessary, and conducting daily building checks. Events roles include ensuring that meeting spaces are set up ready for the day's events, as well as being present for some events that are out of working hours.
