Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of regional, national and international events across in-person, digital, and hybrid platforms.
As part of our central marketing team, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver seamless events that reflect our brand's identity and delivery exceptional ROI.,

  • Manage the delivery of the firm's event programme across in-person, digital and hybrid platforms; working closely with internal stakeholders and key suppliers.

  • Deliver the DACB brand promise by offering a consistent level of experience across all events, both internally and externally facing.

  • Ensure the appropriate application of the firm's visual identity both physically and digitally across all event opportunities.

  • Work closely with our procurement and risk teams to assess and manage risk.

  • Ensure all aspects of event production are efficiently delivered including: room/venue bookings, catering, collateral and presentation production, preparation of delegate packs, mailings, registration etc, with a focus on effective ROI.

  • Work closely with marketing colleagues and BD managers to develop targeted audience lists, manage the client invitation process, and post-event attendance reviews.

  • Maintain CRM contact details resulting from invitation and RSVP process.

  • Manages negotiations and relationships with venues, and external suppliers.

  • Produce detailed event projects and logistics plans, ensuring event planning platforms, and relevant stakeholders are kept up to date.

  • Work closely with Marketing to outline key objectives for each event, advise on best practice to achieve campaign/event objectives.

  • Draft engaging copy for event related communications.

  • Deliver event activities within the budgets set and monitor required client-spend protocol.

  • Completing qualitative and quantitative post-event analysis for complete ROI reporting, engaging with marketing and BD team to provide assessment of success.

    Confident working at pace; with project planning and management skills.

  • Possess a high degree of initiative and independent judgment with excellent troubleshooting, decision-making, and follow-through skills.

  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels of seniority.

  • A flexible mind-set focusing on the delivery of objectives rather than process oriented.

  • Strong relationship building skills.

  • Experience working to budgets.

  • Strong negotiation skills with venues, suppliers and sponsors.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience managing a team.
