Full Job Description
The role of the Corporate Affairs & Motorsport Chapter is to protect and promote our business to a range of internal and external stakeholders. Corporate Affairs and Motorsport owns the communication strategy for the business, ensuring high quality, integrated and impactful communications to engage, align and influence across all stakeholders. That includes internal and external audiences - encompassing the effective management of JLR's global corporate communication channels. JLR Motorsport sits within the CEO/Corporate Affairs and Motorsport function of JLR and is responsible for the strategy, planning and delivery of successful motorsport activities for both Jaguar and Land Rover brands. Working into the Head of Experiential for JLR Motorsport, this role will require collaboration with senior stakeholders across JLR. You will require an appropriate level of experience, be ambitious, have a can-do attitude and passion for delivering luxury experiences as part of a close-knit team that includes colleagues specializing in both partnership activation and communications. Global travel will be an integral part of the role. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and deliver the hospitality, ticketing and guest programme strategy for an international motorsport programme including the design of relevant experiential assets to support technical storytelling, both physical & digital, and full budget management across all activation elements
- Curate and deliver luxury experiences both 'at race' and 'out of race' for multi stakeholder audiences including but not limited to; prospects, partners, suppliers, global media, JLR Executives and senior leaders and lead the market liaison and communication with key global colleagues to support operational delivery, activation planning and attendance
- Build relationships and be the day-to-day liaison with the organising body and various promoters and agencies for the motorsport programme; related to hospitality, ticketing & logistics requirements
- Work with the Partnerships team on contractual partnership obligations and the design and delivery of these experiences e.g. Race attendance, meetings, events as well as working with the relevant House of Brand & Global Events teams to activate the motorsport property in a brand appropriate way
- Management of transfers/ transport at race for guests, drivers and team management working closely with the JLR Motorsport Business Operations team
Experience in Event Management with extensive experience in an events role - Experience in Stakeholder Management, and working with different areas/ departments and suppliers to deliver high quality, brand appropriate programmes with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in end-to-end complex project management and operational delivery under pressure to a high standard
- Ability to Travel (international & domestic) and ability to drive
- Experience of budget management including creation of budget costings, estimates and reconciliations Creating Modern Luxury requires a modern approach to work.
