Full Job Description

We are excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for an Events Manager to join our dynamic team at the Haymarket Hotel. As an Events Manager, you will oversee the meetings and events operations, including screening rooms, meeting spaces, and private dining rooms. You will work closely with our Food and Beverage Management team and Senior Management to ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences for our guests.,

  • Oversee daily operations of the events department to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Attend weekly meetings to review upcoming events and conduct daily briefings with the events team.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the events team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communicate event details effectively to various hotel departments and head office.
  • Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Conduct inspirational show rounds to showcase our spaces to prospective clients.
  • Manage the departmental budget efficiently, ensuring financial goals are met.

    Proven experience as an Events Manager within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for delivering high standards.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills to nurture, develop, and inspire the team.
  • Previous experience in training and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent personal presentation and professional demeanour.
  • Resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
