Full Job Description

The EVENTS EXECUTIVE is responsible for the day to day operations of the events across the Black Rock Restaurant Group. The group currently consists of The Coal Shed, Burnt Orange, The Salt Room and Tutto. There is a primary focus on converting enquiries into successful bookings, and hitting event budget targets. You will ensure there is an effective response to all event enquiries, excellent communication with restaurants and exceptional guest service throughout.

We're looking for a personable, pro active person to join our team at the Support Centre on a 40 hour a week fixed term contract. Full details will be discussed at interview stage., Event bookings and conversion

  • Manage internal booking system to a high level. Oversee day-to-day operations as well as looking ahead at future event and restaurant bookings.

  • Ensure the phones and emails are always answered.

  • Manage Tripleseat by converting leads efficiently.

  • Go back to clients in a timely manner.

  • Report to the restaurants and Marketing department when required.


  • Reporting, management and team leadership
  • Report when needed to the events team, General Manager and Head Chefs across the restaurant group.

  • Handle all guest encounters and enquiries with a professional and friendly approach.


  • Communication and booking systems
  • Manage the booking system, efficiently booking in events and groups.

  • Have great communication with clients and guests throughout the event process. The process will be inputting the lead, sending a proposal, booking the event, and inputting food and final information.

  • Where possible greet the event booker and ensure the event is executed to perfection on the day.

  • Report to the senior events manager for any reporting as well as any issues that arise throughout the event.
